Hi, I’m Eric Iniguez

Currently, I am a Cybersecurity and Robotics Researcher with the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute, and a PhD student in Cyber Studies with the University of Tulsa.

I am a first-generation Mexican American who grew up feeling there was no way I could able to learn about computer science or engineering unless I could make it into a university. Thankfully, I had teachers, librarians, and peers in my community who provided me the guidance and support to make technical skills more accessible to curious students like myself.

After high school, I was fortunate to attend The University of Tulsa and participate in their nationally-recognized Computer Science and Cyber Security programs.

Since finishing my undergraduate degree, I spent some time working in the industry and have returned to The University of Tulsa to work with the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute to teach Cybersecurity and Robotics to K-12 while earning my doctorate in Cyber Studies.
